I've done video editing. Quite a chunk of it. So I know what I'm dealing with.
For streaming, I do 720p30fps, despite my i7-3770K and GTX 1080, and 20mbps upload.
It looks pretty solid and it's also a fairly accessible streaming bitrate required (for viewers)

I actually agree, I do 1080/60 and I'm affiliate, which means I don't always have trans-coding options. I've had people come into my chat and say "Oh boo, I can't turn your stream quality down, I cannot watch today, I'll check the vod."

Not at all my friend! What I mean is when you click the little gear in the corner of someone's stream and you are able to change it to 180, 360, 480, etc. that is trans-coding, some people have slower internet and a 1080/60 stream at 6K bitrate is just too much for their internet so they have to lower the stream to 720 or lower to avoid constant buffering.

I'm trying to adjust my elgato capture box since today. I connect my tablet with a hdmi cable to a HDCP splitter and the splitter is connected to the capture box. This works fine and the sound plus video is transferred to my hdmi input on the pc. The only problem; I don't hear anything. That's why I downloaded voicemeeter potato but unfortunately I can't find the aduio source on which the sound of the capture box is output. Even with elgato's own software I can't do that. But if I record my tablet via obs, the in game sound will be recorded although I don't hear it.

Lautikpc: first try unplugging the HDMI and plugging it back in. and if that doesn't work try doing that with the USB cord that goes to your PC instead

I have the latest version of OBS Studio, and I've tried latest SD software, 4.3.0, 4.2, 4.1, and StreamDeck does not pick up my OBS at all, even after 4-5 reboots between each action.

Hello all, I recently purchased a CamLink4k, I'm running a Sony A6400 through it. I've had a problem recently where when streaming the Camlink no longer sends a feed to the streaming software. SLOBS. If i go into slobs open the camera switch to another input and back to the camlink it comes back for a short time and does it again. Solutions I've tried. Upgraded the firmware of the Camlink. Tested with the 4k Capture Utility (it has the same issue and freezes stops responding after some time). I've moved all other usb devices to a hub (to see if it is a usb power issue) I've also removed the usb extender it comes with. Any other suggestions other than requesting a replacement?

I cam using a CamLink(Non4k) with a Sony A6300, the camlink is also just stopping at random times in both my game capture or OBS. I and reluctant to say that I removed the camlink out of the equation entirely and used my Elgato 4k60 instead and it hasn't shut off yet for over 2 hours.
This only just started happening this week, I have never had a problem since January of 2018 when I first bought this and the camera together.
What's interesting is that my c920 backup camera, I also ran in the same USB port that my camlink is in to see if that would stop and it doesn't, works great.
also checked the back of the camera to see if the camera was causing the issue, nope. camera runs fine during the freeze, updated alllll drivers / bios / firmware everything.

So, I want to use Equalizer for my Headphones so that the EQ I have set should affect my Headphone only.
So it shouldn't affect my Twitch Stream. The audio of my stream should be without EQ.
How can I set this up?
Because, I have tried using Motherboard's Realtek Audio Manager.
Whenever I set Equalizer there. It affects the whole system. So whatever I stream on Twitch goes with the Equalizer Settings.

Thanks I did. Another note I plugged it into my Gaming pc (testing for a longer period now) I'm not able to send the video over NDI to my streaming pc. If I run it through ManyCam it then works. Do you need the ticket info that I opened?

I don't personally need it. The email team will investigate from there. But with the ticket it can be properly escalated if needed and that is how replacements are handled if it's needed.

Ran into a problem I need advice on. I used to stream just fine using my old headset, but I recently bought a steel series headset that plugs in directly to my ps4 only using a usb cable. I found out that I cannot stream sound to both my headset and and my elgato hd60 pro at the same time because the ps4 will not allow it. Are there any workarounds for this problem, or can I just seriously not use the headset that I have?

@warm mantle That depends on what Customer Service thinks. I don't know what the specifics of your ticket are. But if a replacement is going to happen, it happens through an email chain. That's all I was trying to get at earlier. RMAs can't go through other channels.,
@coral patrol Inside of Game Capture HD, go to Game Capture Preferences, Sharing. And then you can either make sure Live Commentary is set to mix or set to separately export. And it will provide a separate audio file upon export.
Though you can also right click on the video in your Game Capture edit timeline and go to Save Live Commentary Only.
@earnest wing a capture card looks like an HDMI monitor or TV to your PC's video card. So you'll need to have it be duplicated with your main monitor or you can connect your monitor to the output of the capture card. To use its passthrough

@cunning latch ive got my Pc connected with a hdmi cable to the capture card. My monitor is also connected with an hdmi cable, but the monitor is connected to the PC using a DisplayPort cable for 144hz. And that still shows up as another monitor, so would the duplication be my only option ? And if so how would I do it

If anyone has experience troubleshooting chat link issues for ps4 connected to HD60pro let me know. I tried for a long time yesterday and couldn't get everything to work.
I can stream fine but obviously cant record voice if I want game sound. So I bought the chat link. Plugged the chat link in controller, and attached headset to short end and other end into my PC audio Jack. When I do this though, the game sound wont transfer over? If I unplug chat link from controller it will go back to doing it. I tired changing audio property to line in and that didnt work

So i've had this problem before and the advice i was told was to change the usb port that my stream deck is plugged into, this fixed it however now it's starting to do the same again.
When i turn my pc on, instead of loading my main profile for my stream deck, it loads the elgato logo on it. To get it to load my profile, i have to unplug the usb and replug it back in. Nothing else fixes it. On my desk i have two Anker 4-port usb hubs with all of my usb devices plugged into, including my stream deck. I've tried changing the usb port the stream deck is in within one usb hub, and tried switching it to the other usb hub, and changed which usb ports the hubs are plugged into on my pc. After all of this the issue is still happening. Do i have to make sure my stream deck is plugged into a designated usb port (not in a hub, on its own port) for it to work? Or is there another way i can fix it?

I have not played WoW, are the macros a keystroke? Because if so, yes. I have a cycle on my stream deck to press a key combo of ctrl+1 wait 15 seconds ctrl+2 wait 15 seconds, etc. I use that for casting.

@fickle hull What software are you using to capture? You mentioned changing the audio property to line in, where are you changing this?
@wet pawn So this happens when you turn the PC on, does it do it if you do a normal reboot?
@earnest wing If your monitor only connects via Display port, then Duplication will be one of two options. Other option is to leave the capture card as a Extended desktop. Then install OBS Studio on your gaming PC. Make a new Game Source and select the game. Then right click on the Game Source layer and go to Source Projection and choose that third monitor.

I have a question regarding the system requirements of the Elgato 4K60Pro mk2.
My stream pc has a Ryzen 5 2400G, GTX1060 6gb and the Elgato hd60pro.
Now I know the minimum requirement for cpu is Ryzen 7, but I only want to upgrade my capture card because of the 1440p 144hz passthrough the 4k60pro has.
I'll only be streaming at 1080p.
Will this be possible or do I have to upgrade to Ryzen 7?

@cunning latch Okay so here’s some Multiple things that’s been going on that I would love help with. (elgato HD60 S) 1. when I start my Capture system it’ll start and show me a “Instant Gameview” however when I go full screen the “Sidebar” will double
Hindering any sound from coming in ultimately freezing the Capture software it looks like “Two Captures are running” which there isn’t 2. When ever I close out of the Elgato due to the “No instant Gameview being black” I’ll force close it out of the “Task Manager” and it’ll add another to the ones below and it will not close for some reason.
- Whenever I start it sometimes it will say “Device being used by another Application” which is not true the only thing I can think of is it thinks it’s running but I forced closed it. 4.Instant game view not showing 5. USB 3.0 disconnecting and then reconnecting itself only when I use the Elgato and when it restarts it will not reconnect right away or show the game view.
I have everything plugged in correctly I mean I’ve streamed from it before for you know max of 2 hours then some days it just won’t work hindering any streaming. Thank you so much for your help and taking your time! Have a good Day/Night

I have to actions, with 9 actions inside which hide sources to ensure all cam capture is hidden, aswell as frames etc for it.
but its taking up 2 buttons on the deck.

The HD60 S can be used by a variety of software, even Shadowplay. It's possible some chat program is trying to begin using it. I'd close any possible program
So when the HD60 S is being used, other USB devices are being disconnected? Is the HD60 S connecting through a hub?

I had assumed you were tying in other functions in combination with turning on your lights. But if you just want a button to turn on and off the light. The normal Control Center buttons will be able to toggle ALL your lights on and off with one key.

Multi-Actions require specific support and as a result sometimes have a smaller subset of functions for certain plugins or features. So in this case, going with a normal Control Center key offers the right option.
@cunning wagon It was just an idea as it sometimes conflicts. If you don't have any other overlay tools could still be related to GPU In some way. Might have missed it, but is this a new capture care for you? Try going into Game Capture preferences, then Advanced, and change the encoder and decoder options from your CPU to GPU or vice versa. I'd also suggest perhaps reinstalling or updating your GPU drivers and rebooting the system.
@north hatch Do you see this message as well in our Game Capture HD software? Try disconnecting all cables from the card, letting it sit a few minutes to reset and then reconnecting it to your PC

Hello elgatonation! I have a tech issue and I'm begging for assistance. Here's the rundown:
Trying to stream from my ps4 > obs > twitch and include party chat audio.
I have an older elgato, the game capture hd (not 60 or 60s)
The only port on it is a weird pin connector which I will post below.
The chatlink uses 3.5mm jacks so I cannot simply buy the attachment to solve my problem.
If I can find a weird pin adapter > 3.5mm female cord, can I use the normal chat link cables?
If not, any suggestions on how to steam a game AND capture party chat + my own voice in party chat?

@cunning latch I figured out my original issue with the Camera restarting it had nothing to do with the camlink 4k. My Smart plug that the dummy power was plugged into was causing the power to blip to the camera.... "facepalm"

Yes it was an iHome one from Home Depot it was configured via IFTTT as well so my tinfoil hat was one thinking someone was remotely turning it on/off but that wouldn't make sense as it was rebooting not just shutting it offf

Hey guys I have a strange problem, it seems the stream deck is conflicting with my obs. when obs is open the stream deck wont play any sounds using the sound board. also when i have the stream deck software open obs wont allow me to move any images without a potential crash, would hugely appreciate any help with this. ❤

@spiral crescent Likely your Gaming PC is using it as an extended monitor. You'll need to go into Windows Display Settings, and clone the new monitor/display/4K60Pro with your main monitor.
Or be sure your main monitor is connected to the HDMI out on the 4K60 Pro.

yea if sound is already going to your headset its not being sent to the hdmi. So a virtual sound board is needed. The sound capture has that feature. You can select your headset and the hdmi and it will split for you

Hi guys, I bought an HD60 s last week but haven't fully got it up and running yet. One question I have though is this:
I have 1 monitor - PC is hooked up via DP
PS4 is hooked up via HDMI to elgato then elgato HDMI to monitor.
I have a headset that I use to stream that is aux cables, not USB so I plug that into the back of my computer. On OBS I am getting game sound and desktop sound (music, alerts, etc.) which is great, however I am not actually able to hear the game sounds myself when streaming. Also, I plan to switch my monitor to HDMI when I am playing my PS4.
So my question is, do I need to get a splitter for my headset audio cable that connects to the monitor and back of my PC to be able to hear both? Sorry if it doesn't make much sense but I tried to explain it the best I could.

@tender prairie you should be able to go to advance audio properties and set the elgato to monitor. Or you can go to the elgato properties and set audio to wave out.

If you're using Streamlabs OBS and doing single PC, you don't even need audio to be going into the Capture Card. Just use desktop audio. It might need to be delayed by 50-150ms, but otherwise no need to send audio through the card.
And while "Display Capture" is slow. A Game Source layer should be perform great and would be maybe as good as a capture card (in a single PC setup)

How are you currently listening to gameplay? You mentioned that adjusting delays in the software won't help you, but you also shouldn't be noticing an audio delay problem when you're playing.

I went thru all the Stereo Mix/Realtek High Definition Audio forums and videos and all kinds of outside help for literally the last 7 hours. By "Toggle" I mean switch its current state, not specifically activate / deactivate. If a Webcam's on, hit a Stream Deck button and turn it off. If it's off, same button turns it on.

Hey so my elgato HD60S won't work. When i get it connected it will show up on the TV but it won't show up on my PC
The other day i connected it to a switch and it said that it needs to be connected to a USB 3.0 to function properly WHICH IT WAS so idk. Today i have it connected to a Wii through a analog to hdmi converter which i know works and it simply won't recognize that the capture card is connected. I know the connection is going through the PC since the Wii is appearing on the TV so because the computer is between the Wii console and the TV idk how this is happening. I have done multiple troubleshooting procedures to fix this. Uninstalling and reinstalling the elgato software, restarting everything, I just have no idea what to do anymore.

@junior quail This is in Game Capture or some other software? If Game Capture, and the counter isn't going up then there is a problem with the software being unable to encode.
Might need to go into Game Capture preferences, Advanced tab, and then change the encoder decoder.

I ended up finding out the issue. I thought that I had to plug into a USB 3.0 port but the issue was the cord itself was 2.0. I ended up driving over 20 minutes away and had to buy a 40$ USB type c to USB 3.1 type a since they had no USB 3.0

The HD60 S ships with a 6ft USB 3.0 A to C cable. So I was just wondering where the 2.0 cable may have come from or if you tried to replace it already.
@surreal kiln Try reinstalling the drivers for your card here: https://e.lga.to/drivers then rebooting your system and see if something shows up in Game Capture afterwards.
And check to see if it's just a blank screen, no signal, etc. Those could be different causes.

@trim yew Sound Capture will make itself the default device, and then loop that audio over to your headset. So if perhaps the system is behaving slowely there could be some delay there.
Have you ever messed with Voicemeeter before? This could be another option.

I am able to get sound through my headset from the Capture Card (HD60 Pro). So I can hear everything fine, but it is not going through to my stream.

So i recently switched from the HD60 Pro to the 4k60 Pro mk.2 and iv'e been having troubles with the passthrough to a tv/another monitor. So when i turn switch my other monitor over to HDMI when i have a system turned on I'll get a no signal screen and then it reverts back to my Display port input. I do use an HDMI switcher and when i turn on another console I'll get the signal to the HDMI out. I didn't have this issue when i was using the HD60 Pro

@open ether for that generation of processors, often the issue is the USB 3.0 controller.
Installing a PCIe USB 3.0 card often can resolve problems. The FX 8350 isn't amazing, but should work.

@north field yes, you would use a Multi Action command on the StreamDeck. Start with a "Wait" command then an "Output" or "Stream" button for your streaming software of choice

So what this does is open Foobar2000, waits 1000ms (aka 1 second), then presses the hotkey I have set to open the Oscilloscope visualisation, then waits another 1000ms, then presses the hotkey to open the Spectrum visualisation

I play on both ps4 pro and xbox one x... I'm lookin at getting a better computer/or laptop to run my streams with but for now i have an all in one dell computer. There isnt much instructions on how to set up the elgato or what kind of settings to use to make sure no frams are dropped. Hope this is the right place to ask this... i stream to YT. I just dabble. My setup: Nintendo switch> hd60s>game capture software and a pair of apple earbuds that connect via earphone jack. The earphone jack doubles as a mic in as well. On a laptop. I absolutely don’t want to buy any more gear. Not yet anyways.
The problem I’m having is the stream volume is kinda low when listened through yt. I mean if you turn up your volume you can hear it just fine. Is there any way to increase the volume output without increasing the live commentary and game audio settings? Commentary is at 72 and game audio at 30. When I increase live commentary I get feedback and ringing.
A secondary problem though absolutely minuscule is the audio I’m hearing from the earbuds is about a second later than when I speak. That really trips me up sometimes. Any way to fix that? I know this is a Mickey Mouse setup, but it’s pretty dang solid.

So Ive got a Sony 6300 that I brought to use as a webcam for streaming. I'm running it through a 1080p Cam link plugged into a dedicated streaming PC but it seems to sporratically freeze mid stream in OBS. It will either freeze 30seconds after turning on and continue to do so, or will work fine for a couple hours no problem. I have everything set to 1080p and seem to run fine when it works but other times not so much. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You cannot @frigid dew (unless you use Window Capture on OBS for the Elgato Game Capture software, which I highly recommend AGAINST doing as it creates unnecessary overhead). It works similar to a webcam in that only one application can access it at a time. This is a Windows limitation.
I would instead advise connecting a monitor to the HDMI out port of the capture card and using that to view the game in real-time.

I have the 4k60 Pro. I have it all set up and am able to see it (and hear it) through OBS, which is great... however the video output to my monitor is not being detected.
Any suggestion on how I can fix this?
I've simply tried switching hdmi cables thinking maybe that was causing issues because with some tinkering the video came up at one point. But switching the cable made no difference.

Sometimes it’s works fine the others can’t go past 10 seconds without freezing in obs, Dslr is still fine. Usually requires me to deactivate then re-activate in obs. Or unplug and replug the Cam link USB from the PC to get it to show up again. Any suggestions where to start to fix would be appreciated. Thanks fam

Hi! is anyone available to help with the cam link? OBS used to capture my camera but now it's not seeing it. I tried deleting the source and readding it but it still isn't showing up. The camera showed up on the 4k capture utility but then I updated it, and the camera stopped showing up there too. I'm all out of ideas on why this happened and how to fix it.

If Discord is detecting it, my hunch is that something else is trying to use the Cam Link. Only one program can access it at once. Perhaps try closing any software like Discord. And if you have shadowplay running, try disabling it. Shadowplay can use a webcam and has been known to lock onto the Cam Link and stop other software from using it.

Even with just the 4k utility open (to my knowledge) the camera doesn't pick up there, it did yesterday but then I updated it and it stopped showing up.

Shadowplay is a game recording tool, but if you weren't using it previously then it probably isn't an issue here.
Chrome has the ability to use your camera. But unless you're currently on a site which uses a camera, that shouldn't be using it.
You can try disconnecting the Cam Link, then opening the 4K Capture Utility, and then reconnect the Cam Link to see if it is picked up after 4KCU is open. If still nothing, I'd probably give us a call or send an email: http://e.lga.to/help
Since video is coming through the Cam Link in Discord, still seems to be some software latching onto somewhere.

I tried a full reinstall but it didnt fix. I also checked my drivers and theyre up to date.

I wanna start streaming on twitch. I can get a Elgato Game Capture HD pretty cheap but I have a few questions.
I know the Game Capture HD has analog Inputs, but I don't have a method to split my analog video signal.
What I wanna do is:
PS2 > Component to HDMI Converter (just plain analog to digital conversion. no scaling) > hdmi splitter (1 to my tv, one to the Elgato).
Does the Game Capture HD accept Resolutions of 240p and 480i over its HDMI Input or just with the analog input?

I'm having an issue with my Elgato 4K60 Pro when capturing my PS4 Pro. I've got my console set to output 2160p RBG with an RBG Range of Full. Every so often, the capture card will lose signal with the image and audio being cut out entirely and the "no signal" image appearing. If I drop the resolution to 1080p or use a compressed colour space/range, this issue never occurs but it was the knock on impact of making the games look worse.
What can I do about this?

I am having an audio conflict of some kind between OBS Studio version 23 / 24 and the Elgato Stream Deck software. Every time I start up OBS Studio, the "Play Audio" function on my Stream Deck stops working. Buttons will count down when you hit them, but hit 0:00 and never 'deactivate' ... while not playing any audio the whole time. I have to go into my Sound Control Panel and "Reset Audio Devices" to get it unstuck. Any tips?

Hey, wonder if someone can help me. I have the HD60s and I’ve been recording party audio by joining parties through the Xbox app on the computer. I purchased the chat link cable to negate the Xbox app. If I change my volume settings to headset and speakers as per the recommended video by Elgato my volume goes very hollow for the lack of a better word. Am I doing something wrong here? I’ve set my audio analog on the elgato settings.
FYI I’m using a turtle beach elite pro headset with a tac unit and I’m not sure if the TAC is what’s causing the problems.
Any help / direction would be appreciated.

It's been a few days this I posted in here @cunning latch but thank you for response. It seems like the issue is being caused by the HDMI switch I've got between my consoles and 4K60 Pro. Directly connecting the PS4 Pro to my 4K60 Pro removed the signal dropping issue entirely. The only downside to that is I then have to crawl under my desk and change a HDMI cable when I want to stream Switch games.
This is the configuration that had issues
PS4 Pro or Nintendo Switch --> Sony/Nintendo provided cable --> HDMI 2.0 switch --> Elgato HDMI cable --> 4K60 Pro --> HDMI 2.0 cable --> Monitor

Not using the Elgato cable on the working solution as it's not long enough due to the size of my desk, my PC being off to one side with my consoles and my desk also being height adjustable. The HDMI Switcher doesn't seem to be an issue if connected directly to the monitor either, by passing the capture card, so there's only an issue when using both at the same time. The solution at this stage is to either deal with crawling under my desk or buy a second capture card. Thank you @cunning latch for your help though.

I must say i've been seeing similar audio issues with OBS, whereby my Cam Link 4K is maxing out the audio buffer of OBS and causing my audio to lag and stutter, resulting in a need to restart OBS

Not really, but it's a fine base if the price is low enough (anything between $200-$300 USD or under), but you'll want to buy a video card, an SSD, and upgrade the CPU at some point.
It's definitely not a complete system for most gaming or streaming workloads.
Though it should be able to run less intensive titles, like a number of common e-sports titles such as Rocket League, League of Legends, and CS:GO, at lower settings well enough.
As for streaming while gaming on a console, it most likely will be fine if you stream at 30 fps and 720p resolution. As I said, it's a fine base as long as the price is cheap enough. This is going to be a system that you will have to upgrade though before too long.

Not sure I understand. Game capture settings are separate from OBS. So you'd need to change it on the OBS window too.
But you're on a HD60S so you can also just use "Game Capture HD60 S (video) #01" as the device not "Elgato Game Capture HD"

If WaveOut doesn't work, I'd let the card run like default and then use Audio Monitoring in the Advanced Audio Properties instead.
But if it's moody like this, maybe a driver reinstall and reboot?

also on my previous post, I have a display mirrored with the Elgato so that I can play on 144hz and still stream 1080p on OBS

i setup my streamdeckXL and my sound clips where working fine (pre-stream) but when i started streaming the sounds where not playing but whatever clip i pressed "seemed" to be playing constant till i re-pressed the button but no sound came out

@south bronze So HD60 S connected to the Laptop which is doing the streaming? Freezing or locking up might be USB bandwidth related. Perhaps try setting the laptop to a High Performance power profile.
Do you have any other USB devices hooked up?

You can also try seeing if the same key combo works in other software. Maybe SLOBS isn't properly detectingit
@shy idol Lately Windows has had some updates which shifted around some audio devices.Try going into Windows Sound Settings, and then App Volume and Device Preferences and make sure Streamdeck is on Default or what you had before. perhaps it's sending it to the wrong place. And if there is a problem with the sound device, this may have impacted the sound playback behavior.
But of course, back up profiles and reinstalling is a good step.

@cunning latch i think i found a solution, and it's a weird one. I have two monitor setup, and when i launched the streamdeck app on the right monitor, slobs being on the left, it didn't work. I dragged the streamdeck app on the left one, it started working.. May need to investigate more, did it do the trick for good, when the app itselft isn't open.

I guess Metaloul left, but just for posterity. The HD launched before streaming was even really on the radar. And the software didn't have streaming functions yet. So latency was not really a concern. Similar to the HD60.
You'll notice that every card since then has Instant Gameview to help with streaming.

@coral widget Gaming PC GPU HDMI output to the 4K60 Pro HDMI In. And that's it. If you want to use the passthrough on the card, you'd connect your Gaming PC's monitor to the HDMI output of the 4K60 Pro.

Hey Community, I've got a bit of a head scratcher for you. My Camlink refuses to be detected in anything other than a USB 3.0 hub.
Been battling with issues with my Camlink (connected to my Sony A6400) for my stream for a couple months now, it'll randomly freeze and I'll have to disable/reenable in OBS Studio or Game Capture software to get it to move again. I figure this was cause I was running it through a hub and was willing to live with it for the time being till I got a longer HDMI cable.
The last week I finally unplugged it from my USB hub and plugged it into the front ports of my computer, but nothing was detected. Same with the rear ports and with/without the little extension that comes in the box.
It only works when plugged into the USB hub, but that USB hub can be plugged into any port on my PC and it works.
Help greatly appreciated (oh and my ports work fine with other devices being recognised perfect).

@cunning latch I am on Windows 8.1. I was working with it yesterday and got to the point where it does detect my Elgato HD60 pro when I open up Game Capture HD. However, it will display as no signal when I try to connect it to my Nintendo Switch.

@cunning latch Okay so passthrough is optional. That makes sense, I was confused on how I was still get a signal when nothing is plugged into the output and not plugged into a monitor. I currently have a HDMI switcher to easily switch signals between my Gaming PC signal and my PS4 signal.

However, when I hit the buttons, they don't play sound and the button stays on the moving signal indicator and never stops. Weird thing is, it was working a week or so ago, but now its just dead. I have restarted the machine and unplugged/replugged the unit itself. I've tried different MP3s and wavs.. no luck.. i would love to get suggestions on how to troubleshoot this

Try typing "Change system sounds" in from the start menu, go to the recording tab, hit properties for the audio input of the HD60s, and see if you can set it to 48000Hz for Format

Ah, sorry, got confused there. That being said, I think the audio will end up conjoined going to the PC, rather than controllable at the PC end.
Meaning you'd be locked in at a set volume, rather than it being possible to adjust. Therefore it'd be almost certain you wouldn't be heard over the game.

If you're wanting control of the audio, perhaps a HDMI separator will do the trick (this will pass video over HDMI and audio over 3.5mm or optical, but I think the former), and then passed into a mixer alongside your microphone. If you want more powerful control that is.

Naw. I’m using a real Mickey Mouse, rink-a-dink setup. It’s working pretty good streaming to yt with the elgato software. No other fancy programs running on top of it. Not brave enough to go any deeper.

Hey guys, wondering if someone can help me with what looks like a driver bug with the Cam Link 4K
(or atleast, some bad configuration issue on my end)
I am seeing the Cam Link 4K cause a number of issues in my stream. It appears to be increasing the audio buffer in OBS either close to or to the max possible. When it hits the max, my whole stream audio stutters instead of playing back smoothly.
For comparisons sake, the 4K60 Pro does nothing like this.
Here is what I see in the OBS logs

i brought one but it does not come with an extra mount for a webcam/keylight, i want to add a clamp to the existing pole and run the extra poles that i don't use off it and add my webcam to it rather then adding another pole to my desk.

Also due to how dumb USB committee is USB 3.1 (Gen 1) is actually USB 3.0 but renamed while 3.1 (Gen2) is the original USB 3.1. They work with one another, just that Gen 2 is 2x faster
