Ok, found a cheap clamp mount that should solve my overhead mounting issue. And since this works with the stream deck, I can set up a "hobby stream" action that when I switch to the overhead scene it turns the camera on.

The Elgato ecosystem is just too compelling.

I have my switch connected to my elgato which is connected to my pc and monitor - how can I have audio output via bluetooth to a speaker and also go through the elgato. It seems like it is one or the other only.

I used the green screen mouse pad for the first time on the stream tonight and it worked out SO WELL! This is from my Starting Soon scene, it cuts to my overhead cam a few seconds in. I have an automatic scene switcher that swaps them every 30 seconds.

I add the Game Capture HD60S as a video source in OBS, then in the Advanced Audio Mixer settings, make sure Elgato HD60S audio monitoring is set to Monitor and Output

Just keep OBS running to keep hearing audio

So question. I'm thinking about grabbing 2 lights(don't know which ones) but I'm wondering if anyone has ever mounted lights to their monitor arms? How this would be done the easiest. I don't want to be desk stand or anything else that clips to my desk, I just want to attach some sort of moijt behind my monitors and have the lights come up over my monitors. Any ideas?

Depends on your monitor arms. Are they spring loaded or pivoting arms clamped to a tube? For my Key Light Air I removed the base and stuck it down a tube-based monitor mount.

Hi All, I need to improve my camera setup for top down shots. Would some of Elgato's lights be a good option for shooting some top down video?
I've tried a few smaller lights (similar to the key light mini), but they're too hash - I need a softer light.
I do have a massive LightDome softbox which I normally use, but I've set up a corner of my room dedicated to top down shots... which I now can't use unless I fix the lighting situation!
Thinking possibly 2 Keylight Airs, but not sure if I'll still have the same issue with my other light.

I'm writing to ask if there is any production for a mixer that would replace the need for streamers to use the GOXLR?

I am a diehard ELGATO user and would very much like to replace this piece of hardware with something of greater quality, like me many streamers are entirely reliant on this piece of hardware simply because there is absolutely nothing out that has the same functionality, something that I think ELGATO could easily produce and achieve.

I'm sure your broadcast mixer would be exceptional and work well with all your other tools you have created

If you would like to discuss this with me further feel free to DM me or tag me here. I am desperate for a solution. My mixer crashes day and night and without any competing product, there is no option but to continue using it.

FYI, I use an ELGATO XL stream deck with over 190 unique functions, pages upon pages of OBS scenes and sound effects, never ONCE in over 3 years of using it have I had a single issue. I can't say that about any other products. Keep up the great work guys!

I have zero problems with mine. If yours is crashing "day and night" in the hardware you should contact TC Helicon and see if they will replace it, if you registered it you have a three year warranty. If it's software i bet it's something system-side they would help you troubleshoot. Their Discord is amazing for helping people troubleshoot.

Elgato makes the Wave XLR already, it feels like that about as far as they want to go into XLR devices based on the smash hit success of the Wave series of mics.

though i will note that even w/ 3080 & 5900x i can only get ~70-90fps in most modern games at 4k even w/ DLSS, etc

You want to talk pricey, an average DSLR from Canon that I use for photography cost over 1G, and the lenses, and attachments even more.
