@honest owl I bought the Wave 3, works great but is real sensitive. So you want to use a noise gate filter in OBS to reduce it a bit as it picks up breathing (in my experience)

I mean; cheap and "not falling apart" usually doesn't go together well.

Hey guys Im having some issues with my hd60 pro. I wanna record my main monitor which is 144hz 1080p display that uses display port to my pc. But when I plug my hdmi into the monitor and into the hd60 pro nothing is dedected. The only I can get something to be dectected is by removing the display port but I dont wanna do that because I lose the 144hz feel. Any solutions?

@trim anvil it deff does not look as awesome. IMO they are almost the same thing just more new updated. I believe 7800 came out in 86? Its backwards compatible so it plays all the older atari games. It took me like 2 weeks to figure out how to get it to work, and be able to hook it up to use it with the elgato, but I figured it out. Its pretty awesome. I love the really old games lol

Unrelated to Elgato, coming from the view as a certified Apple Tech:
Apple offers very little support for that device since its a legacy device.

When Apple limits support for devices typically App developers will follow their lead since there will be limitations to the API they use. For something like EpocCam, it probably requires hardware and software specs that the first gen mini doesn't have.

Unfortunately, that can happen with older devices which cannot be controlled by third-party developers such as Elgato. That is on Apple and the limitations of older hardware.

Again really support has no control. When i worked support for 8 months for a different tech company we would always be told stuff is coming. Unfortunetly we wouldnt have any control over when it actaully gets implemented. So to the staffs knowledge it is actually coming soon

Befooore I donwgfraded from ym GoXLR, i buzzed them and they said yeah, the wave is totally better then the GoXLR and I am just not seeing it yet. No updates, nothing. I understand new products take time to develop b ut I had a great audio system and was told that this wouyld be better by your staff and so far, like i said, really dissapointed

Support staff generally aren’t told specific dates or timelines because nothing is guarenteed. Because if something does go wrong then you have EVERYONE complaining that it’s taking too long

5 months doesn not seem soon to me. soon to me iplies maybe a month, which it totally cool to wait/ But the last email I got was just over 5 months ago and there have been no updatesa. Just rteally bummed is all. ANd i know you all are doing your best. But i base my support and advice to other streaers of my experiences i have with products and at this point, I would not feel comfortable recomending the Wave even to a first day streamer

@snow beacon Just wanted to clarify that there was an update recently since you said there were no updates for 5 months, so wanted to make sure you were aware. The recent update allows PS4 support, gives us the option for Wave Gain Lock, and more.

If there's a certain feature you'd like seen, I'd suggest posting in #feature-request . It'd definitely help if you can give us a comparison of what you liked more from your old mic and what you wish Wave had. As mentioned earlier, unfortunately there's no timeframe we can give you for any more updates, but just know we are working on it. blobcheer
