Yeah I checked PSU it's fine. Doubt anything influenced it. What I'm getting from people technical with these kinds of internals is that the power regulation inside the 4k camlink failed causing power surge and since it failed thats what lead to super fast overheating

That should be fine, try to avoid putting anything directly in the mic. If you have dust, maybe a light dusting with clean air, but I would use it at an angle to not damage the microphone

Well in my opinion, there's a lot of demand for their products so I think they're amping up. So if you're adamant on getting their Wave 3, I think it's worth the wait, be it waiting for a month or two. Just be sure to check everyday

I have my StreamDeck XL on a bespoke stand, my camcorder on a multi mount (w/ Flex Arm kit), my shotgun mic on a stand with a built in XLR cable, my GoXLR is on a bespoke stand too
