@woven tuskI was asking about the "recording .raw footage" because I want to do frame rate analysis videos on consoles using this program called trdrop aka T(ea)r drop. It's on github. Problem is it requires a .raw file to do it properly. (tons of people on youtube have done it more or less similar/identical to the way I'm doing it right now, digital foundry does it the same way but they use there own custom program to compare the frame rates with, which no one has access to but DF)

I want to make a design for the contest but I guess I can't since I don't have Adobe's expensive af programs. I can open the file with what I use but the .txt is basically useless to me because it's obviously a different program, so I'm confused lol

I've got programs from Affinity (Designer and Photo), they can't beat adobe's functionality for the most part but the price is like 55 bucks and you don't have to pay for it again for a LONG time.
Anyway, some effects are missing and the sort of instructions on the .txt are not really useful since the layout is a lot different and things like that.
Like I said, I can open the file and it works, but the instruction txt is not useful to me and that leaves me very confused about what I'm supposed to do

@spark venture Another great program is Affinity Designer. I use that for everything. They also have a Publisher program and a Photo program. Great stuff! Not free but very inexpensive for how expansive they are.

Just thought of a killer setup no pc required and have a camera connected !!!!PS4 or Xbox , connected to Blackmagic Atem Mini with camera as well , then feed that to 4K 60 S+ and record via SD Card! Can’t wait till you guys release it and I can try that setup although not sure if the Atem mini will have lag ...

Yea, normally it's about 3-5 frames. But depending on the system it can vary. We don't suggest playing just in the preview normally.
It can work fine for some RPG's and turn based games though.

I was at a table, helping a guest, and heard a kid crying. First I thought “here we go again..”, but then I walked to the bar, saw the kid and his shirt full of blood and I was like “wait what the fuck happened??”, appearntly he had has finger stuck in the door at the toilet.

And everyone was trying to find the first aid kit and we couldnt find it, I felt horrible I couldnt find it as the supervisor.

Im a Servicedesk employee at a big telecom provider
And we recently got laptops with local admin rights
I thought heck, why not. I installed the streamdeck on it with work related actions
And its a god send

I work for the internal service desk of our national railway company Dutch Railways, which owns, manages and maintains 95% of our train infrastructure and trains.
So to stop typing locations manually, I got them binded to seperate keys in a folder.
I click of a button types an entire adress.
In an other folder, I have the seperate programs we have with the Open .exe functionality.
I also have a system lock button, which is basicly the same Open functionality, but linked to a windows .dll file.

A suggestion for Elgato and Corsair; make an RGB K-series keyboard with an integrated streamdeck (or two). Sure it would be a bit bigger but well worth it!

Technically... we did from a functionality perspective! K95 platinum XT. This being said, not the same buttons as a streamdeck, which is something to consider later on. I think in this scenario it was probably considered and seen as too costly. No one probably would want to pay for what that would’ve cost. Still could happen in the future!! Keep your eye out!

With the XT, they put in integration with the streamdeck software into the Marco keys. So you can use your macro G switches in the Elgato program

Yeah! I mean I’m sure there’s better ways to do it, but for my purposes I just wanted the logo of the tools so that I could see what I was changing without having to read them or something. I gust googled logos of tools on the Internet, stole them, changed them slightly in some cases in PS then sent them to the key creator to get sized and cropped.

In this scenario it’s all about workflow. Playing around with what works for you. For me when I’m not editing where u have it is where I put mine lol. This being said, when I am editing, I set mine right next to my mouse, flat, so it’s a real quick movement. This is just personal preference tho
