@fringe ibex you can do it using windows 10 recent mayor uptdate that include routing audio, im not sure if i get your idea right

for example you can set discord audio goes to a diferent output and activated with the stream deck

And I have this weird technical problem with the greenscreen where every so often it will have a conflict with my big toes and cause a severe and painful crash.

I was looking at the Elgato HD60 Pro, but I don’t think that will actually fit in my PC. So I have taken a look at the Elgato HD60 S, although I don’t know if it’s actually going to make a big difference in the frames I get on the FiveM server. At the minute I normally get over 60.

No. The HD60's encoder is only for encoding the signal to be sent over a bandwidth-limited USB 2 connection. Your CPU will still have to decode that footage and then re-encode it for your stream.

Capture cards are not designed to increased your game's performance while streaming or recording. They're designed to take a signal from one device and capture it for another device to encode in a recording or stream.

#

Where people get a performance improvement is having a dual PC streaming/recording setup where one PC handles only the gaming workload and the other PC handles all of the encoding workload. A capture card is used to capture the video output of the gaming PC to be used by the recording/streaming PC.

#

So unless you are specifically using two devices for your recording setup, don't buy any capture card. You won't see any benefit or use from it.

There's a bit of echo, I can't use monitor speakers all the time, since the condenser mic picks up so much more, I'm sure I could spend time to get it just right, but it's easier to just slap on some headphones.

I had a blue yeti and that died after a year. While trying to get a replacement got a used AT2020 and behringer 802 for about $100, as it took 2 weeks alone for them to respond. Sold the replacement I got though anneWink

When mine died, I opened hoping it was a bad wire. There is basically nothing in those giant bodies. Just an oversized circuit board

I use the CAD GXL 2200. I've had it for a long time now. 6 years maybe? That said, where my computer is set up is pretty small and enclosed with hardwood floors. I'd be better served with a dynamic mic just to help a little bit with room tone.

Started with at2020 USB it picked up a pin drop 3 miles away. Switched to the procaster with a basic USB amp, and finally switched out the basic amp for the goxlr

yeah totally. as I said mine is really only a simple, cheap, reliable pole solution. yours in a way gives you a lot of versatility in terms of angle. I wonder is the weight limit high enough to mount a light on it as well? that way setup is even more simple when you change position.

hmm, well if you ever try it and have issues, I suppose the solution is to use a bracket and "choke up" on the arm that way it doesn't slowly fall on you. if you go slightly over.

mhmm! led lights aren't normally too heavy, but I'd recommend not doing what they show there in terms of going "bare bulb" was we call it. you might already know, but bare light creates harsh shadows that really aren't appealing. getting a diffuser in front of it will cut down on that by quite a bit.

its always specific to your setup

i usually record a clip and clap my hands

#

makes it easier to adjust the delay up and down until the clap sounds matches your hand movement

So the price for the Stream Deck is a bit high but if people are willing to pay it that’s why they have it at that price they probably asked a lot of people how much would you be willing to pay for it

But honestly, the Stream Deck isn't that expensive for what it is, which is an infinite keypad with a lot of customization and a lot of compatibility with numerous apps without the need for something like auto hotkey scripts.

I don’t have much use for my Stream Deck right now but I’m using it to record my gameplay from my recliner so I don’t have to go to the computer every time I wanna start/stop recording

No. My guess is that the 1080p model is just in low stock or is seeing reduced production as it's probably being phased out by the 4K model.

Yes, though the 4K model is for 4K 30fps, but it can still do 1080p 60fps.

And @high glen to make it on the list, the camera just needs to meet a few requirements which includes having an HMDI port, being able to have a clean HDMI output (no HUD), the picture needs to be full resolution, and a couple of other factors that are outlined in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6KsYpEPoss

Information on using specific cameras for live streaming or gameplay recording is hard to find not only because there are so many different camera bodies out there, but the use is still fairly niche in general as most continue to use a normal webcam. Are you planning to do anything very specific or a little out of the ordinary with the camera?

@fleet heart OG Cam Link was discontinued when the 4K model came out. So it's been out of production for a almost a year.

And 4K offers better deinterlacing support which is nice for many older c ameras.

@high glen I have the D3300 and D3400 and have hooked up the CamLink to both. The quality is pretty great and both have 'clean' HDMI and can stay on without sleep. I was pretty happy with the results. But in the end I went with a GoPro Hero7 Black.
