Why is it that regular roaming zombies NOT the Frankenstein ones have hundreds of Hotpoints, it took me 30 arrows with 95% headshots to kill a reg zombie, I went through 100 arrows to kill 3 of them from a jungle tree. I had to do that several times, is that intended? they have more hitpoints then Heavy scientist..... I tried to get a screenshot of the 30 arrow one but of course as soon as i start to come down 3 more come a running, for a fresh spawn that is almost impossible to over come.

Doesnt sound right, check combat log and see if you are getting invalids?
they only have 150 hp
I done log out and said fook it. it didnt happen a couple time it happen around 10 times.
I have not heard of thhat from anyone else, Ill jump in and test. If anything I actually lowered junkpile zombies to match roaming zombies now , they had 200 hp
I never checked logs but I've seen the behavior that it takes a lot of arrows to kill zombies if you are in a spot they can't path to get you. I've mostly seen this on trains in the early game.
A tree would be a similar situation
Good news is facepunch is working on a new zombie npc for halloween.. so mayb we'll finally have some decent npcs to fight
I usually have 'player_distance' in console when i try to kill zombies from jungle tree or zipline tower. I don't know how it work, but you have to find good angle to kill them.
it was from the jungle tree that this happen every time, at least for me.
I have the issue alot with alot of invalids but i put it down to me bing in austrailia playing the server i put up with it because this is the best pve server
Im a little late to the party here, but I’ve definitely noticed zombies sometimes take a lot of extra bullets to kill.
Prob dont have much influence over that at all other than report to developer. Its not taking extra bullets, they likely just arent registering
