#Plugin to make rad teas work properly?

I found out the hard way the anti rad teas state rad protection but dont actually give rad protection.... Would it be possible to add a plugin that adds proper rad protection to rad teas? Im not familiar with the backend of rust servers but i did find this if it helps at all: https://codefling.com/plugins/consumable-effects

Please let the rad teas be actually useful and match what they state in the info panel <3 Please Please Please <3

Codefling

Consumable Effects let you to modify metabolism values received after consuming specific item. Same goes for using medical items like med kit, bandages and syringes. You can modify initial effect as well as add overtime effects with custom durations adding things like comfort, oxygen, temperature...

We dont really change core game mechanics like this because we want players to be able to learn about Vanilla Rust while playing. It keeps the facepunch feel of Rust

Would it though? Teas are so cheap that it would just basically mean radiation doesnt have a purpose

as it stands tho green berries have zero purpose. plus it just gives more options and the teas only last 30 minutes so you gotta make a bunch of them if you run monuments in any capacity. as it is now you basically cant have full metal sets in monuments if you dont want crazy rad damage stacks... so you are basically stuck at t2 armor forever. with no real use for t3 armor. :/ thats just how i see it. ontop of making items do what they say they do...

an alternative could be the skills plugin with a rad resistance skill :o with a max of like 15 or 20% so you still need water and hazzy in red launch and what not...

pretty much the only place you would need them is launch site and the puzzle would be super easy if pure teas made radiation do nothing. I would have to add a lot more NPCs

The micro managing of bandage and water is part of the balance of how difficult it is to run

Not really keen on things that change how the core game works because I want things like that to be expected like how a PVP player would expect, were a hybrid community and have players that play both so its what makes BZ unique. Rad teas, using bandages and water to run launch site, getting the expected rads etc are all part of the game. I try to do skills that only amplifiy, not replace the need for things entirely

Ive definitely thought about this in the past and even experimented with that plugin before then u ltimately decdied its really only ONE monument run that its all about, and I like to keep that vanilla launch site run feel
