Wondering if there's a method I can use to test songs beforehand so I don't play them in-game & crash unexpectedly.

i mean

#

there are some duds in the library

#

i will usually manually edit midi's i actually care about in another program like midieditor or cakewalk and never have problems that way.

#

if you have examples of ones that cause a crash though @leaden cosmos, that would be helpful - maybe i could write something that looks for "bad" midis, if i know what bad looks like.

Sure thing. After work, I'll send some of the ones that crash my game. Thanks m8!

If the partitions are made with recent (3.3+) lutebot and the midis can play in any normal player, they shouldn't crash the game, unless they happen to be at the boundary between two PartitionIndex files - in which case any song in that position will crash when played

delete the song after a crash and save it again
