Simple idea. Show a button that says "Show list of current ranked games in progress", which opens a game list(like in custom games), where you can spectate these games live.

I mean I don't see the point of it. Custom game is different because people can join in mid game. Also I haven't seen any other game allow you to watch ongoing ranked matches

actually now to think of it I think csgo has a similiar system that you can spectate the ongoing match of people in your friendlist. Of course there is a delay tho I don't remember how long
