This topic for discussion should have been raised a long time ago, but since this has not been done by anyone, I will try to do it.
1/2 We all know that there are several options for presenting a game: releasing it on a platform like Steam, Epic Games etc. or through localizers in a particular region. We also know that with both options in different regions, players will have different prices for the product as a digital copy or as a donation if this game if its free. In general, the topic of buying and donating in the game also depends on the age factor of the audience, but I will omit this nuance, although it also has an important component. I will touch on the topic of solvency in relation to the average income in the region. I think its not a secret for anyone that the solvency in Europe or North America is much higher than in South (Latin) America, CIS and Africa, but the donation price is the same for everyone. Some may say that this smacks of communism, but it is clear that communism is an ideal model or simply an utopia. Both have a right to exist, but if a company wants to maximize its profits, then it should show some cunning, perhaps give way somewhere, and now I mean by this a change in the donation price for different regions. An American, Canadian, German or Swede can top up their gaming account with 100 dollars/euro without much damage to their wallet, while 100 dollars for a Russian, Ukrainian, Kazakh, Brazilian, Peruvian or Congolese is a lot of money cuz depending on his work and city of residence, income can vary significantly. In Africa, they may not receive such money at all. Are you suggesting that they save up for a few years to get the game content they like? Ofc, someone will say that these are purely the problems of people in these countries. If they cant afford to top up their account cuz they dont have enough free funds, then no one is forcing them to do it, let them play with the standard ones. But why deprive them of this?
