You need metrics for your points
Earned expertise in x languages doesn’t rlly say much you need to prove that you used them to accomplish x% increase or something like that
Ur resume looks quite empty any chance you can add projects?
Or up the font size
Came up with smart solutions?
If you were working at a company for 3 years I’m assuming you have projects you led that you could talk about. What did you do? What languages did you use? What impact did it have? You could probably have 4-5 of these for ur current role
Depending on the school u may want to put it on the top
thanks for the reply!
i'll see if i can find metrics to get numbers on improvements made
so i previously had a projects section, but was told it was better to delete it since they were projects i did in university
didnt know how in depth to go for job related accomplishments, i mostly listed the technologies i worked with
i can def up the font size from 11pt to 12pt
Ya that long ago it wouldn’t be ideal to include them (ideally ones u did in the past year)
Think of it as a recruiter. They want to see that you made a difference in the company not the day to day tasks you did. You’re trying to sell yourself and your technical skills
gotcha, makes sense
thanks! really helpful feedback
for a little context on the 3 years it started as a rotational program for 12 months then transitioned to New grad full time
so i ve made significant contrbutions to the codebase but havent really led a project myself
not sure if the 3 years makes it seem like i have more exp than i actually have
