I would love any advice people have, I am starting college soon and would love to have a internship at a quant, working on something in C++. I'm also intersted in hardware companies like qcom or nvidia too...

I also forgot to mention on the resume that I have a good chance at renewing my current internship while moving to the SWE department (pending manager approval).

anyways, is this resume good enough for a summer 2025 internship at the aforementioned companies?

anyone?

# scarlet tusk anyone?

I'lll give it a shot,

  • Center name, links, etc.
  • Replace 'Incoming 2024' with 'Expected Graduation: 2028' OR 'Sep 2024 - May/June 2028'
  • Remove highschool
  • Try to rephrase bullet points that make one or two words overflow into a second line (since this doesn't look good, make it one full line)
  • Remove the exclamation mark '!', this is not some informercial
  • Remove (3 years) from skills beside 'C'

Overall IMO not a great resume format and bullet points wise

  • Bullet points need a lot more work

Other notes:

  • Add grad month (e.g. June/May 2027)
  • I prefer to write the full degree e.g. Bachelor of Applied Science or whatever yours is
  • I don't know if you meant to write 'US' in the location as the country, but it obv should be a state
  • I personally think there is no reason to include 'US Citizen' if there is nothing on the resume that hints otherwise
  • Try to reduce last line of first project to just one line
  • I think it may not be necessary for you to include projects date here, but you can decide better
  • Why is Assembly the first programming language in skills?

Nice changes, notes:

  • Change Bachelors to Bachelor (remove 's')
  • Separate JavaScript and TypeScript by comma, not slash
  • I didn't read the bullet points so hopefully someone else can help with that if needed

But yeah, nice overall!
