Not sure if only specific client side visual bug...

This can happen two ways

  1. You have graphics set very low and go a few meters away the nest, the nest will deload while the eggs stay. This is client side only
  2. The mother destroys the nest while a player is in the egg (they accepted the invite but still need to hatch). The nest will be destroyed while the egg will remain until the player hatches out of it. This is server side
