After updating the game, I can't log in to the server, crashes
I tried to check the integrity of the files (everything is fine), reinstall the game, log in to other servers- the same problem

That may be your issue then. To run properly the game needs to be installed on a SSD, most HDDs are too slow to load the map before it times out and kicks you from the server, and a good few HDDs are too slow to keep up with runnjng the game at all and may crash outright.
If you have a SSD, I suggest you install it on the SSD instead, that may fix your issue. If you do not have a SSD and are able to launch the game, your HDD may be able to allow you to play on servers using the test map (it will show on the server page which map a server is using)

The game used to run fine without any issues. I've been playing for about a year now. The problems started after the update. Are there any other solutions?

SSD is listed as part of minimum specs, there may be methods to get the game to run at below minimum specs, but it is never garenteed.
The issue you're discribing is usually timing out when attempting to load the map, so anything you can do to make the map load faster may have a chance to help you. The test map has much less to load then the forests map, so if all else fails that may be a fallback for you. Reducing your graphics to bare minimum and forcing the game to launch in -dx11 may get it to load faster.

I’m using an M.2 SSD and the game worked perfectly before the update. Since the update, however, it’s having issues. If a game runs fine before an update and stops working afterwards, the problem clearly isn’t on the player’s side. Sometimes I can’t even join the server it kicks me straight back to the menu.
