with hearing all the talk about exploits and hacks and being falsely accused of hackusations a lot of people have been needing to record their gameplays to defend themselves and point out the exploiters. but it doesnt punish the people exploiting as with recordings you cant prove who is exploiting unless they chat in local which will lead them to keep doing it.

it would be nice if there was an in game recording software like the isle has, to record gameplay in game with the option to show nametags so you know who is exactly being naughty or to prove themself innocent.

Steam has an in game recording feature for all games launched through its launcher, it can be enabled through Steam's settings

While I am not privy to exactly what details are on server logs, providing a recording of your perspective, alongside date, time, and server so that admins can check the logs and take actions accordingly, is much preferred to debating hackusations in a public forum.

There unfortunately has already been instances of players using the mating mechanic to note down player names for later harassment, I dont personally believe allowing players to record video containing each others names would bring a positive change to gameplay, both in the terms of player explotation, or in clan v clan intrigue on pvp servers (there would no longer be mystery to who a player in your territory was, or their allegiances)
