It is impossible to see in caves at night. even with night vision it is impossible to see. this has happened multiple times and doesn't happen to everyone as a different person was able to see in the cave just fine. I've attached images of the cave. 1 image has night vis on the other does not. thanks for your help

Irl night vision relies on amplifying ambient light levels, getting a lot from a little. Inside a cave, you dont get that moon and star light to amplify, its much more accurate to be pitch.
Players who dont recieve this effect have their lighting set to low or potato. I suggest bringing an IR or Bio if you need a flashlight

I still think this is a valid bug report, but the bug is:
Players with lighting on low and potato do not have night vision helping them see in dark areas correctly.
I don't know if they need to fake night vision in caves a different way on lower settings, but you shouldn't require a dragon that glows to see on low settings if players on high settings can see just fine without it. ESPECIALLY because it's a pvp game - being able to see without a torch is a HUGE advantage because glowing is extremely visible at night
