So, many people on the server I play on (admins included and have made announcements about it so that everyone is aware (is an unofficial server)) noticed that the restores button is bugged and very rarely works whether you’re a baby (who wants to restore back to old dragon who is adult/juvi) or you were a juvi, adult or elder who was killed. I could restore successfully maybe 3/10 players who asked.
The admin panel bot says the “no restorable” icon when we try.
Apparently this has been happening since the 1.2 release ^^

All I know is that most of the time it’s because of nesting and the previous dragon was the skin needed/wanted and they were the father. So, they get nested, see that they aren’t the skin, ask for a restore to try again with the female with the skin, and admin tries to restore them, and it refuses.
The ones who are adults/elder/juvi who aren’t retesting and ask are usually killed by snappers and respawn on the same dragon (or if it’s a dragon they can’t respawn as due to DLC or KS dragon they spawn as another) they then ask for restore and we try.
At first we thought it was just the BW restores, but it turned out to be any dragon with limited success in restores (whether the restore button liked the player or not; like previously mentioned I could only restore 3/10 players who asked)
When we couldn’t restore, we do our best to help them re-get their dragons

Also have this issue, renesting is a big risk if you can't hit the skin you need, especially not being able to restore the males, we don't have a lot of people spare to float between skins, so rerolling males is really essential.

Tried slaying the adult and respawning to baby before taking the egg, once taken the egg, tried slaying again, no respawnable previous adult option, just kicks you back to menu, same with restore option.
