#Server queue

Could there be a queue for getting into a server when it's full instead of being first come first serve? Basic idea is clicking on a server and being put into a queue with a number, telling you how far you are from being the next one being allowed to get into the server. It would be far nicer than being first come, first serve and constantly being dragged back to the title screen to click play and click on the server you wish to join again just for the chance that someone left and you get in at that exact moment. (been trying to join sanctuary for over 2 hours now as of this post with no luck)
As a suggestion- can you make it so that all players get placed in the queue whether the server is full or not? And then if there's space, connect the first person in the queue and so on.
One problem I've seen with other game's queue systems is you could skip the line by joining right as someone left. This would prevent that, and I imagine if the server isn't full, players wouldn't be in the queue very long before connecting
THIS! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WE NEED this right now! Mainly we are tired of clicking and getting kicked out.
PLEASE. Id rather spend 45 minutes waiting im a que knowing ill get in than wasting 45min just clicking over and over hoping to get in, at some random point.
I just want to remind everyone in case none of you play the isle
They implemented que finally after so long of people asking for it.
My average wait time to get in to a server went from 25 ish minutes to regularly over 45 minutes.
I'm not saying don't do ques, but if you think being 60/84 in que is faster than spamming join I promise you're wrong lol
It may take longer, but at least you can use that wait time to do something else instead of spamming the join button.
+++++++
Windows has an Auto-clicker function you can use with minimal skill. You can youtube how to set it up, works wonders.
@spring oar I'm not saying it's about skill or anything I'm just saying it's easy to do if you haven't before. Sorry post cooldown
But it's so much faster without a que. I get why you could think a que is easier but it really, really isn't. Especially with how many people are asking, all for one server. You're going to have 60+ person ques that run for hours.
This isn't about skill (?). Some people just don't want to waste their time trying to join a server and would prefer to wait in a queue.
A queue also helps players with slower connections. It may be faster without a queue if you've got good internet, but if a player with slower internet is trying to join at the same time, you can steal the spot away from them. A queue works fairly- first come first served, regardless of internet or computer speed.
That's true of course. I'm not necessarily saying "Oh don't do ques" I'm just trying to educate people on exactly what a que system does in a game like this. Because there are definitely longer wait times.
