Make rain refill water needs

I just think that would make sense and be nice to have and also help babies survive too.

I disagree with this. Mainly because water isn’t absorbed through their skin and it sort of defeats the purpose of survival.

I think that their should be satiation for food/water to prevent ticks from happening for at least a few minutes so you don't need to keep feeding it every second. This will also help for bigger dragons.

I mostly agree; however-- there are animals which do absorb water through their skin, namely amphibians. It would be an interesting concept if only aquatic dragons like the tidal shock could do this-- meaning they might be mainly limited to the oceans, rivers, and lakes, but could travel inland more freely during rainstorms

Maybe instead of refilling it, it could halt or slow the water drain, since you are getting somewhat hydrated in the rain

I like that idea, and thanks everyone for saying thoughts.
I kindof rushed this suggestion but I was also curious if maybe it could only refill if you are like resting/sitting or something so you can focus purely on gathering water but not sure about that since it incentivizes staying still instead of actually playing the game.

Maybe the suggestion should be to be able to drink the puddles that form during a rain storm?

This would be interesting for the smaller dragons, and give them a way to survive easier. With the puddles, they could drink from them instead of larger bodies where they're more likely to run into a Swamp Snapper or larger dragon. Hatchlings could do the same, which could help their survivability and allow them to travel away from the hatchie ponds and seek shelter. The hatchie ponds are still frequented by adults and are dangerous to stick around in for too long

this is correct, some reptiles like the thorny devil do absorb water through skin. I think this could be a fun and sensible addition

at the very least it could stall build up of thirst if not restoring it

yeah, certainly feels weird at least to die of thirst in the rain. like.. dragon pls just eat the rain.. there's water and puddles everywhere....

Yes I'm aware of that. But I don't see that as needed for dragons when they.....drink water normally?
