Don't get me wrong. I have my choice opinions about this company and I BY NO MEANS am happy with the 1.0 update... But I feel like you're romanticizing the legacy version way too much.
There were only 3 things in the entire game and if you ignore passively sitting in a bush and growing, there is probably only 2 hours of real content involved in hunting for food and shrooms. Other than that, what is it? A glorified chat room? The same can be said for 1.0 but at least the map looks better than before and they're working on adding things.
As someone who hates 1.0, there's really nothing on legacy that isn't in 1.0 or planned to be in 1.0. If you're there for the social aspect, most people are either on 1.0 or simply gone.
I feel like the community is just saying it was better before 1.0 due to how unfortunate the release had been, yet completely forget all of the issues that were in legacy.
