Parents can already feed young by bringing small ai and meat chunks back to nests.
Unless you are suggesting the parent sacrificing their own hunger % to feed the young without going out to hunt.
I don't see a strong need for this feature but it might be something to think on for future updates.

Hopefully every dragon can carry their food to their younglings.
But so far we didn't get a preview of the food source of Brood Watcher for example, so if they don't make it carriable (for some reason) then this feature could have its use for this species
