I understand that the current vision for stat gain is to encourage social interaction but I would like to at least voice some feedback regarding this development choice. Hopefully voicing this early enough for it to matter. I feel like the breeding system being the only option for stat progression will encourage real world transactions amongst other negative occurances. The encouragement for social interactions should probably come from the activities that are offered, such as bosses and difficult quests. Not the development of a player's dragon.
As it stands I could see Day of Dragons hitting a weird state a of player introduced "Pay-to-Win". I'm not necessarily asking for this system to be changed. Just that it doesn't end up as the only way for players to increase their stats. More options would be immensely appreciated. Even as simple as eating pearls for stat gains would be great.

The pearls and mutation points are also a way to boost your stats, and there are even server settings coming to remove stat progression through breeding completely.
I should've clarified that I'm speaking in regards to baseline letter stat upgrades. As far as I'm aware, the mutations don't affect those. I do not know how pearls interact with stats.
