I suggest an elk for a sound you could incorporate in the tidal shocks calls! Even a hint of it, I want it to be eerie.
I can imagine it now, stuck swimming in the ocean and you just hear that from underneath.
Which brings me to another point. Please let aquatics use calls underwater somehow
