I agree, however i dont think it the running on 2 feet, but more.so the stubbyness of the legs. The feet look really oversized to the leg and the legs should be much longer. Something closer to a dinosaur? Maybe not that big but at least half way in between.

if the legs become any bigger they would look silly in the walking pose when they lean on their wings, so then all would need to be adjusted to "bird pose"
the size of the legs are fine if it would run on 4 "legs", just look at smaug, he has such tiny legs and his run looks awesome
