I heard that snow will be able to build up and slowly get deeper during snow storms / when snow is falling, and once it builds up enough, dragons will leave dents / trails in the snow. In a desert, since sandstorms are gonna be a thing, the sand in the desert should become thicker and rise just like the snow does, and once it has piled up enough, you should leave a trail through the sand as you move around in it, too. This would also be really cool for the Blitz Striker, as it is a snake and its movements would probably leave a pretty cool trail through the sand, like real snakes (in the image below).
