Add Moss Balls to the game.
A dragon can pick up a moss ball, hold it in water and then bring it to a hatchling or dragon on a nest so they can drink it. The bigger the moss ball, the more water it carries.
(Moss balls can come in a variety of colors; pink, orange, green, blue, yellow, ECT.)

I like this idea. My question would be, if it's bigger, would it be heavier? And would that hinder smaller dragons sometimes (depending on how big the moss ball is), from carrying them? It would be awesome to truly nest just about anywhere!

Moss balls will also decrease spawn camping and hatchie killing. A baby ss can pick a moss ball up, soak it, and sit far away from the water until the moss ball is all out.

This is a neat idea. I think they have more important things to focus on until the game is in a more complete state but I would love to see this added in the future.

Fruits are planned to be added and I think they MIGHT give water back so that may be the actual version of this. (Also I dont think moss is particularly safe.......)

How did I miss this post? This is a great idea! 💯 Perfect for having a well hidden nest and still able to bring your babies water to drink. I wouldn't make it doable with adults simply due to size, but babies for sure. That way main water sources will still be visited and utilized - for the adults to drink their bigger gulps and then to fill up the moss balls. Hec, now that weather was added, how about after it rains, any moss balls you find can hold water for a limited time. And then they dry out as normal. Excellent idea!! ✨ 💧

Yes! just for babies
As in all stages can pick up those moss balls, but only hatchlings can drink from them (basically a pocket hatchy pond from legacy)

Ohhh... I did not think about that... orange made a point. I forgot about the swamp snappers. They are supposed to make getting water dangerous and exciting. If we add the mossballs that kinda starts to nullify the additon of the Ai....... and we don't want that.

You can't really get close to a snapper pond as a baby and get out, so with or without moss balls you still need assistance as a hatchy
