is further math necessary for chemical engineering?

hello i am planning to do chemical engineering. right now my subjects are maths physics and chemistry and computer science. should i take further math

you shouldnt really take it as your 5th

but swapping CS out for FM is not a bad idea

assuming you are pretty good at igcse maths and add maths ^^

Then it would be very difficult because the skill gap coming from 0580 into A level further maths would be really large

but doable if you have a good teacher + you are already good at 0580

A little stretch tbh

Cause normal maths 9709 will be really hard for you as of now as u didnt have add math

And further math 9231 is just a different level

Also these AL subjects have syllabus big asf

Taking 5 Al subjects is equivalent to 11 or 12 igcse subjects

might be better to drop smth like CS in place of FM

it really depends on where you're applying though

but FM is more directly useful than CS from my limited understanding

it's fairly doable. if you have a good calc it won't be the worst thing ever
