#is biochemistry worth it

if u wanna go into research for treatments and shit medicine opens more doors… but that’s just food for thought depending on what exactly you wanna do
i suggest watching videos on youtube from ppl who took it talking about their experience
and the day in the life, since you might like the subject but not necessarily the job
honestly, i cant give you a good opinion cause im not in the field
but it's not the most large-range-many-opportunities degree out there
do some research on google probably?
well, ish
like i said for the research stuff, a bachelors will rarely ever be enough
and many of the jobs on there (pharmacist, chemical engineer, petroleum engineer, etc) require a lot of the subject of biochemistry, but you can’t get into it with just a biochemistry degree, you’d need to take eg engineering at uni
i meant more like watching videos and looking at blogs from people in biochemistry and seeing what they have to say
the preliminary results from google, like this and ai, aren’t so reliable unfortunately :/
