Hi, i didnt do add maths at igcse and i still choose alevel maths
For those who have studied igcse add maths, they will go through the contents faster (some topic in as level already taught in igcse add maths) but it doesnt mean that those who didnt take add maths cannot do alevel maths

Also, i found this on cambridge website

#

it just mentioned igcse maths, not add maths

i just started

but i think it is designed for all of us who have taken igcse maths so it'd not be over-handled

All you need is 7 in gcse math not even 6. Why are people asking this question? as long as you are good at gcse math, you'd be fine with a level math

Add math is not too useful for transitioning - it just makes the stuff much much easier. It's like between AS and A2 math

It's for those gifted kids at math who can easily finish the gcse math but don't want to skip a grade in math
