I'm gonna take maths AA HL, physics HL , chem/Econ SL , English A Sl , french B SL , Econ or chem sl

I don't know whether to take chem HL or econ HL . I wanna pursue engineering in the future but I also want to maximise my points . And I don't see myself in a professional that involves chem a lot , I'm only considering it because university love this trio

honestly chem sl seems like a drag but it could be very useful and appealing to colleges if your going into engineering

im aiming for architecture

i'm also planning to go into engineering but if i were you i'd choose econ because chem is honestly quite limiting + taking econ would provide another path into quant investment or investment banking and not restrict you to just engineering. (also bias because i hate chem)

I was gonna take like film SL instead of chem SL for an easy 7 and basically like for no work but then after taking to some unis apparently you would need at least chem SL for engineering it doesn't matter what type , it's recommended

yeah if you're applying to unis in UK then you can't beat maths phys chem

if you apply to american universities then they onyl require chemistry up to the igcse level

Film SL is not even an option. I need to succeed to attain top colleges and I need to do whatever needs to be done .
