I am confirmed with taking Business studies and economics. However, I still have a 3rd subject to pick and I am confused. Should I take accounting or maths?I also have another question, is mechanics and statistics and probability mandatory?I genuinely have no idea about A level maths.

I also don't know what can I do if I have accounting. I have very little knowledge about subject choosing as I am giving O levels currently with science background and an additional of Economics, which were choosen by my parents but as I, now, have the freedom to choose according to what I want, I want to study on economics and business studies, problem being with my 3rd subject to choose.

if not you can't do much with your subject combination
if you're going to pursue econs or finance in uni you should probably take stats 1 and 2
i don't recommend doing al accounting without having done it in ig accounting, it will be very difficult

AS maths u either do pure math 1 (paper 1) and statistics 1 (paper 5) OR paper 1 and mechanics 1 (paper 4)

if u did Add maths at igcse, then u can request to do Paper 2 (pure math 2) which is closer to pure math 3 and can be done in AS
in A2 u can either do pure math 3 (paper 3) and statistics 1 (if u did mechanics 1 in AS) OR paper 3 and mechanics 1 (if u did statistics 1 in AS) OR paper 3 and statistics 2 (Paper 6) which u can only do if u did statistics 1 in AS
sicne ur going to commerce, i recommend u do statistics 1 in AS and statistics 2 in A2

if ur school teachers cant teach it then hire a private tutor and sit the paper only
statistics 2 is a short syllabus, can be covered in a week if u do it a lot
but stats 1 and 2 need a LOT of practice
