@wide sable I summon your wisdom (sorry for the ping but you're clearly experienced in giving honest advice)
why u want econ
Well econ a level could be useful for econ at uni? although it's not required right
On why I like it - I'm always reading about economics, and curious specifically about macro (how inflation is managed, how central banks use monetary policy etc)
What combination is better for applying to uk?
mhm, but if i want to do it at a top uni
for the maths part i need to show off
bro what
im not doing pure econ, it's maths+econ
maths and economics is highly competitive
maths further and physics is bare minmum skill, then i complement with either econ/hist/epq
u dont need physics at all
if you want to study maths and econs in university, why are you taking physics?
unless you're taking it as your fourth subject because you have interest in it and such then that's fine
if you're applying to the UK, a good combination would be maths, further maths, econs and another subject
yeah do maths FM econ and another subject
