I am a private candidate and homeschooled. I am currently in IGCSE and I will begin studying for AS in July. However I didn't do add maths but only extended maths 0580. How should I study for a level maths and further maths (keeping in mind i also have physics and chem)?
Should I do a course or get a tutor? Is it recommended to do only maths in 1st year and then do all of further maths in second year to get the experience? what do you think?
#How to study maths and fm in A levels?

I would not do all of FM in y13
i know taking the maths exam in y12 has been known to cause potential issues as some places need your AL in the same session
honestly yea getting a course or tutor will probably help, teaching yourself fm is rlly rlly hard
just cash in both courses at A2
maths and further maths and take 2 years for both?
wdym by issues?
I heard some schools not counting it towards conditional offers in the UK, tho I tried to google and Oxford doesn’t have this issue
So in most schools you do both and you take modular exams iirc? And then all these exams scores get combined and it determines ur grade
though this might be different for caie
oh you mean predicted grades as in applying with AS?
no, they straihgt up do not count the entire AL
but i would get more advice on this, i know many schools also do not do this !!
check the colleges you are interested in yourself too
Well I'm homeschooled as I said above
So how would you suggest studying maths and fm at a levels?
ok firstly, are you interested in all of
probability/stats
mechanics (physics type stuff)
(and pure maths is mandatory ofc)
