I'm not sure what to take for a levels
What I do in igcse (I'm doing my igcse this session):
Mathematics A
Chemistry
Biology
Physics
ICT
Business
History
English as a second language

What I was going to do in AS was
Chem, math, PHY, bio because I wanted to do Chemical engineering in universities but now I kind of want to do something with coding related (software engineering) in universities. So I was going to change my subjects to; chem, math, phy and ICT. But after looking into other threads, I saw someone mentioning ICT isn't preferable for university.

you could still stick with three sciences + maths for a levels

because to do cs in uni, you don't necessarily need a level cs

as in it's not required for admission

and don't take a level IT, it's not worth the pain

Wouldn't it be better if I take IT though

My worst subjects are bio, business and history fyi

you may struggle with theory at the start but it's still very doable

No, but I heard it'd be better to take 4

well it's up to you to take either three or four subjects, it's either you do math, phy, chem or math, phy, cs then have a fourth subject

a level IT wouldn't be very beneficial for doing software engineering

These are the exact same subjects I'm doing, the only difference is that I take English as a first language.
(And I also did CS instead of ICT but they're rlly similar sooo)
