based on my opinion take math phys chem and further math in AS, u can easily enter any engineering field or any research degree like physics math or chem and further math helps logical thinking which u need for this shit and it puts u ahead of anyone in ur class and in uni
plus unis respect you a lot
got it, thank you

good choice of subjects u can pretty much do anything related to maths
@vital vessel make sure u get All As in math phys chem, high As, further math u can still do w a low A
Yep, that was the plan tbh since maths is my favourite :)
yep, Imma work hard for it 💪
if u want u can dm me ill give u resources for each subject
yes plz, thank you so much
u want them rn?
ill dm them to u after ur exams i dont want u to lose focus from igs, get all A*s in igs first
Sure, that's a good idea. Though I don't mind when you give them 'cuz I'm in 9th rn and I'll give my igs in 10th
oh ur still in grade 9
yee
Advice for you please start early when you reach grade 10
You’d be surprised how many people procrastinated and fucked themselves when there was one month left for exams
@vital vessel https://igcsemaths.in/ for add math
chem and physics use camb or hodder textbook they will do
Yeah, that's what I thought as well. I'm planning to work on all my 9th grade topics during summer holidays so I don't have to worry over them in 10th
CS idk
thank you so much

literature i have no idea i got a C lol
@tidal thistle btw if u don’t take add maths or further maths in igs could you take fm in as levels?
theres no further maths in igs and yes u can but its a bit more difficult
i still recommend u take it, it makes uni life much more easy, and regular pure math becomes easier
math CS further math
Add maths is called further maths in Edexcel
i recommend dont do a CS degree but its not upto me what u do
fair enough
Why is that?
super competitive and youll find it hard entering uni at all and employment is trash rn, mass layoffs and you need to apply to many jobs for a few interviews
unless u have real passion for it
too many ppl do CS for the ''high salary'' and now the market is oversaturated ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah but you could say that the people who do it just for the high salary actually don’t give a fuck about cs and have no passion for it and companies can tell so that’s why they tend to not get hired for positions
id recommend data science over CS ¯_(ツ)_/¯
But I’ll look into that shit after my igs
yeah idk why u guys look into this shit so early
Either way I’m doing something math related so I’ll just do as further maths
u wont end up liking the same thing after igs
i wanted to do an econ degree after igs, guess what im doing now
and look at my username
What engineering?
no, majoring in physics
I heard that majoring in theoretical subjects doesn’t make for a high salary
everyone says that shit
Yea I I’ve heard that alot
Damn
a physics degree is an electrical, mechanical, civil and aerospace engineering degree combined into one degree
physics is also one of the hardest degrees to pursue, making it very admirable to employers
esp if u do a phd in it
So if you do physics you can pretty much do all of these jobs?
pretty much, but its not for the light hearted
I’m not weak in it I just don’t like it
if u wanna go into data science which i recommend, take math econ and accounting
still dont take it
@distant sigil wait after igs
youll figure out ur passion once u finish igs
for now focus on A* getting
Aight thank you
