No i have never seen a medical college requiring A* in IGCSE to be accepted

#

the only reason could be your parents think that medical unis are competitive so they want you to redo?

you only need Cs

#

A* isn't necessary to have

#

You can do your Alvls and apply to med school from there!

Seems so untrue most universities accept A's in A levels

#

You don’t need A * s I have one cousin who is a doctor and one who is finishing up their studies to become a doctor and they had As and some A * s for gce but not all and As and like a B for A level.

Most colleges (including medical science colleges) don't seem to ask for IGCSE grades though. They only appear to ask for A Levels. Basically it should be stated withing the college application form itself. You can check the details of the specific medical college you want to go to.

#

Or maybe they will check IGCSE grades but the A Level grades are usually the deciding factor

They are not compulsory right. Most just checks the ALs right?
