You can, but A* for most of your subjects is like minimum requirement to get in
Focus on 1 area of interest for extra curriculars, and implement whatever you learn into the betterment of society
cure cancer and win a nobel prize while making a perfect replica of the mona lisa with some improvements
this should bump your chances to about 4% if you are the only one applying

honestly tho, they don't weigh in 10th grade scores that much
they largely focus on extracurriculars
i dont have enough money to make something for the betterment of society
You don't need money for that, imagine played on the school basketball team. So you'd teach basketball to kids who can't go to classes since they can't pay for it
yeah i get that
but the thing is, i have ideas which can benefit many people and countries if i had some money to experiment with it
that's what's so annoyting
Oh can u plz suggest ecas related to cs

yes? that is what I have seen with my seniors and ppl on internet
most top unis would never accept a well rounded student, most admits have very good accomplishments in 1 specific field which they base their EC's on
not exactly well rounded, but have multiple interests
most of the top universities are interdisciplinary/liberal arts based
u might be okay with public schools
but not privates lol
Hmm, I had a senior who got into harvard for cs. he told me what he thinks he got into harvard was probably him going to stanford for summer school and then using that knowledge in an internship he did for a couple of months where he worked on many projects
#1 summer schools are scams
#2 you dont get in because of going to summer school
#3 he didnt get into harvard for cs, they dont admit by major
im not saying he got in just bc of summer school, he showed interest in the field of study he was applying to by studying it in a college and implementing that knowledge in areas which made strong EC'S
he said it personally felt like it did. idk about the rest of his application
ty helpful

yeah but you can probably make out bit by bit, if other areas of your application werent as strong
