#the advantages and disadvantages of ib diploma and a levels??

if you know what you want to do in uni then a levels, if you dont then ib
i do recommend searching this forum and finding similar threads where they discuss this very topic
it depends on what you want to do in the future tbh. if you are determined and know exactly what you want to do, then choose A level because it limits the number of subjects take and you can go deeper in the knowledge. that is the biggest plus point in a level. the biggest cons of a level of lack of life application which is really tedious and tiring (purely exam based)
For IB, it is more suitable for you if you aim to be good at everything or have not determined enough to choose for path when you go to uni. In general, IB is more expensive, some students drop out because it is super heavy. But the best thing is being an IB student if you always seek for reflection and evaluation, requires a lot of critical thinking and real life skills.
lack of life application? never heard of it
yeah, im doing a level i realized that there is not a lot of opportunity for either soft or solid skills, it is just one side studying. IB is way more better at this field because they always use both their mistakes and knowledge for their application in their coursework
i would take art as an example
in a level, all i do is just drawing and copying artists and doing media testing, not much writing and reflection
in IB, it is 50/50 drawing and writing because they value your perspective and they want you to explore your own strength and weakness and use then for personal evaluation.
no
coursework isnt application lmfao
application is in the exam, you apply your knowledge
as for coursework you can literally do it at home
for example in a level cs, you take a practical exam which is done in a code editor just like real life
