#how many subjects do you have to take for ib?

All of this is compulsory
3 High level subjects, 3 standard level subjects and tok and your extended essay
Cas is extra but not exactly "work"
Mainly just volunteering
And attending events
oh, so it has to be 6 (sl+hl), tok, ee, cas
Yes
Defintely not, the only way to really ease your workload is take the subjects you like as HL and do CAS on stuff you enjoy doing. Or you can take some easier subjects such as maths applications and interpretations than maths analysis and approaches (the later is said to be harder)
yeah, the IB Diploma is like a full course meal
if you want to go a la carte, you have to take IB certificate (take as many subjects as you want up to your school timetable limits), but all unis prefer the IB diploma
also not many international schools offer IB certificate
ohh
then are there any popular ib alternatives that may have a less demanding workload?
A levels / AP / IB
If you don't wanna do IB, decide on which country you want to go to uni for, and then choose the curriculum offered there most likely
ohh okay, thankss yall
