this is not an ideal solution since it's not a cosmetic everyone wants to wear, but if the glow is an issue for you in some areas, the Feast Goggles (50 candles during days of feast) reduce/remove such glow effects with a toggle
(I agree that this should rather be an accessibility setting, rather than a cosmetic function)

the more i think about how many ways the Motherlobe from Psychonauts doesn’t follow workplace safety standards the more worried for those interns i get idc if they’re fictional
and thats without even knowing what all is and isn’t allowed

those floating island things in the main area have no safety rails, (actually im pretty sure nowhere has any railing except maybe MAYBE the area right outside the main entrance) or any way to safely get up and down them (i do not CARE about psychic abilities), there are no clearly labeled fire exits with nothing blocking them nor anything to tell people the proper routes to go from where they are to find an exit or fire exit depending on where they are, and ontop of that there’s children (CHILDREN. CHILDREN WHO ARE NOT CERTIFIED TO DO SUCH.) with access to open flames (via pyrokinesis) and there is NO MONITERING or even atleast RULES around that??? No safety gear???
and there’s probably MORE (like all those INCREDIBLY UNSAFE RAILS THAT GO OVER A VERY MUCH LETHAL HEIGHT TO FALL FROM that they again let CHILDREN TRAVERSE AT HIGH SPEEDS)
but i’m unfortunately not very well versed in what all counts as hazardous and breaks their rules

in conclusion the psychonauts are very very stupid and very very lucky

the sky quest meditation circles are very buggy for me - after I activate the quest itself, I always have to completely quit the game, then manually return to the wind paths (without using the return shrine) in order for them to work properly

hollow knight is one of my most favorite games challenging indie platformers my beloved. i’ve seen so much sky and hollow knight crossover fanart too! there’s definitely an audience overlap.

as for sky cutscenes, a good majority of them can be unconventionally avoided to deduct time but the real kicker is the online aspect of it. you can deduct time/be ok with cutscenes you can’t skip on your own but not when a random player you merged with triggers the completely avoidable ones.

(except the style guide if you consider days event guides as seasonal spirits ig..?)
only generic ones or constellation ones
(idk if all of them were from the main constellations since i dont keep track of that but they looked like they were from Isle and DP)

speaking of some cosmetic being shared between a bunch of spirits, i was going to complain about certain (non-Ult) capes that i absolutely LOVED not being for sale but i forgot what season they were from (it was Belonging) so i had to look it up on the wiki
and i found out apparently, theres only 2? ..3? if the wise grandpa cape is still available then 3.
-anyway yeah only 2 capes which all 6 spirits share between them but ONLY TWO SELL THE CAPES
they’re all from the same season and have the same capes why can’t you just have them all sell it, same price across it all, counts for all of them if you buy from one

For some lucky people, one of the isle WL's actually respawns after you've already gotten it once, thus letting you get it twice (and getting an extra for free). I had that for a few weeks, but I was unable to get it starting last week sadly
