Not only does it greatly drain your light from touching it, it's rammed onto your skykid. So that split second of contact is enough to fully drain your light

Isle, vision to guide birds and butterflies to prairie, prairie lost strength to carry the pots, forest lost ability to create, valley lost spirit of competition, gw lost power to fight and the vault lost the ability to access the knowledge.)(And then it appears the light call when you leave eden)

i think for true ascension we must reach the peak in the eye of eden, but while giving ligth to the satues we become one; so u ran out if ligth and become a statue and go to orbit there you can wait OR you can come down to the world to give strength to the next generation of childs in the form of a chilf of ligth, the child will pick u up and place u back in your statue so u may finnally reach true ascencion

so we as players never get to see the TRUTH
