About the murals, I think the ability for Sky habitants to fly exists since they’re born or created from the stars idk but all I interpreted from the cutscenes is that when the junior spirits are old enough or receive enough training, they have to endure the trials to be worthy to earn the power to fly.

They don’t die but if they give up in the process, they won’t be able to fly. The message is that the citizens of the Sky kingdom have to work really hard to be gifted the power of aviation

(Sorry about text wall, but as someone was asking a while ago) I'll try to sum things up about the murals... (actually everything is a jumble of theories) i'll try continue editing this so that your theories could be included hopefully:

• here we call the glowychild the prince
• if you cant see the glowychild in your game, pls light up the firepots on the floating rocks

1. The prince arrives in isle. (The guy with horns is isle elder) anyone else has more to add here?
2. The prince arrives at the caves of prophecy.
3. The prince goes through the trials and acquires the wisdoms of patience (), resilience (), balance () and courage ().
4. The prince distributes the wisdoms to the elders.
5. The action in 4. helped the elders build their kingdoms. (I am confused here: what does the prince do by going up the holy mountain?)
6. Having successfully built the kingdoms, the elders worshipped the prince. (Tho i'm still confused about what the krill at the bottom left corner of the mural is for... the krill is covered in the attached pic, but you can go see it yourself)

Some theories about the glowychild:

• yeah the prince (the uncorrupted king)
• the prince is the child of light
• the wl everywhere are the “footprints” of the prince (imprints of the child of light)

• the people and/or elders prayed for help from megabird
• she sent the child of light to become king, pure of light and unable to be corrupted (basically a shell of a person, made to be a « perfect ruler », that’s why the trials taught such important wisdoms)
• child became king, turned the elders into husks of light like him (as megabird wanted him to do)
• unsure what’s happens here
• all the elders and king corrupt, try to fight megabird, and promptly fail

OMG wAIT, someone said the beginning cutscene ("bring our lost stars home") never specified if it was before or after the Eden Storm
Four colored stars fall, the people living in the world pray to them, or pray for someone to come find them, since they didn't know where or how to find them.
Megabird creates Skykid-Glowchild to bring back the lost stars, but the skykid sees how the people need their power. So they find the stars, and give it to the elders.
The people, grateful for the skykid's help, make them their king? Maybe? And their power only grows, until bad stuff starts to happe

The red star seems to have been taken by the Wasteland Elder. And both Wasteland and the fire Trial have Krill-like creatures

When the star was moved to Wasteland, it tried to spawn Dusty Worms again but those ended up getting mixed with the sludge, creating a more docile version of Dusty Worm
