According to my theory, the King and Corrupted King ruled Eden together. The official Elder was the corrupt one. At some point, after teaching the Prince values and virtues he should have to be the corrupt king's successor, he ( the prince ) started questioning the corrupt king's ways. Then he leads a riot against the corrupt King. Corrupt king wipes out whoever took part in the riot ( explains the statues ) and accidentally kills the prince, who he didn't know was leading the riot ( statue lying down curled up in Eden is the prince ). The King (not corrupt ) fled from Eden after its destruction and faked being the Isle elder (pt 1)
