Perhaps that is what recharge us, being cared about. Even the animals seem to want us to succeed, with mantas taking you up and butterflies helping you as you honk to them. Everything in sky seems to care about you, I think that's beautiful

I think that skykids, spirits, and elders are all in some way connected to the stars/partially made of stars
all the canon lore doc technically says on that is that winged light aren't stars, and that skykids, spirits, and elders are different species
But I still think there's a very strong case for all three being made of stars in some form

I’m gonna post a whole theory in a min so-
So the gw was once a desert oasis area as far as i have have looked. So my theory is that the king put in machinery or something like that (hence the wrecked pipes all over the gw) and the elder of gw didn’t like that and began to destroy it. The King found out and as punishment, corrupted the krill and used them to attack the gw. Afterwards, he abandoned the krill there. The reason the krill might be so hostile to skykids is that they remind them of the king that forced them to destroy the gw and attack the skykids. But that’s just my theory.

If you look at the latters you can see that the main one in Valt is spiret sized, and deffently not made for someone sky-kid sized, but in the cave in Praire there is a latter deffently made for someone sky kid sized. I donno if they were exactly servents, but i think the latter size is deffently interisting.

I made a theory some time ago that there used to be a serious hierarchy and class division in sky, that's why some have capes and some don't, it either referred to the importance of their division or work or if they're high or working class people,.
If u look at valley there r 2 competition trails one requires capes and the other without, that in itself should explain how the Cape and the Cape less competed together seeing that they have the same ending

We all know that when not moon(or well day)lighting as kidnappers, mantas are getring krilled and turned into capes daily
That has steadily decresead the manta population and left us with smaller mantas and a limited number of larger mantas who have evolved to coexist with skykids to keep their population from extinction
The whole polution and war history has also had an effect on the loss of ancient mantas who were bigger and differently evolved from current mantas
Those are the matas that the Sanctuary spirit brings back to life
They are ghosts of past ancient mantas brought to life and placed in a safe hidden isles where they can safely keep their population growing without the threat rest of the realms have for their existence
Sanctuary is a paradise resort for skykids, but a sanctuary for ancient mantas who have nowhere else to live

But that makes me think even more that symbol could be a emblem of the civilization, rather than the King's proganda.
The King's crown could be shaped to resemble his Kingdom emblem. Kind of like the Westeros king crown (of House Barrateon) is a peculiar to rememble a dear/stag.
