Here is my contribution the channel (I'm very new to exploring the extremely complex and vague lore of Sky so if any of this is obvious or disproven, sorry in advance): A while ago, before I joined the discord, a friend took me to the office and I had a thought that maybe the office is a glimpse of a universe where whatever disaster happened at Eden didn't happen and technology continued to develop in a direction similar to the real world. (I think I saw somewhere that it was based off of tgc's real office, but I don't care about the meta explanation for the sake of this theory, only an in-universe explanation) Some potential, if thin, evidence is the megabird glyphs around the portal. If all life can split off, why can't other functions of the universe operate the same way in Sky? Even the creation of new universes. (Basically that universes split off of each other similar to how lifeforms split off of the megabird) Plus the megabird glyph looks very similar to classic depictions of the many-worlds interpretation.

So here a little bit of my theory because tgc said that sky is just the first chapter... as I said yesterday.
Sky kingdom isn't that huge like it barely stretchs 400 kilometres.. we can fly from isle to eden in in half an hour (if you do some speedrunning.. tho I doubt it will take 30 minutes) .. Sky kingdom isn't that huge. So you all know that there is a whole planet out there and the sky kingdom takes a little part of it. So my theory is that the king just migrated to other places. It like the most logical thing to do when your kingdom is like dead. To be fair his kingdom is going pretty well. He got some pretty serious industrial capabilities on his kingdom. Why he need such industrial might? We may never know. We never see sky a currency do we?. Like there is 5 huge temple.. two of which is probably a factory to produce something... So when the king failed to manage his kingdom he just migrated to somewhere else.
Who knows like maybe this sky kingdom is just a small part of his territory. A territory for industrial might. The shipwreck on gw.. maybe that was just his ship for transportating good for other place.. like why the king need a ship that huge for sky kingdom only?
So yeah that I can think of now.

There are tons of boats scattered around the world, we come into the world years after the destruction of everything so I wouldn’t think too much into how a simple boat is next to the temple

It was probably used as transportation (as the spirits probably didn’t use the boats fro decorative purposes) because most of the spirts could not fly.

Well actually, I think all of the spirits couldn’t fly. The ones with capes were used for decoration because if someone could fly and you couldn’t, wouldn’t you want to fly, too? So if they could fly, more spirits would have had capes.

The refugee is close to the fire, likely because they're not a soldier.
The soldiers are mostly spread out arond the camp, with the stealthy survivor on the edge of the camp - perhaps because they prefer the feeling of being able to sneak off if they need to

When the season started it even said that these spirits were on their way to prosperity. But with all that power and all the orbs in 1 single ark, it attracted a deadly storm and caused them to crash into a deserted place. They were stuck here without a way out so they decided to adapt to their environment and wear clothes for the desert and we see them as “turban” clothes. One of them even made a farm. With no way out, another one of the scholars painted murals on the ark so someone could know their story and maybe one day, someone will find the ancient ark buried underneath the sand and fulfill the ancestors wishes

while everyone else, which were like military spirits, were scattered about, and i think theyre just placed there to keep on lookout or something
