so, I believe that all of sky is a time loop. Times of day don’t change in the realms, and every day they reset so any changes are lost.
However, Home is something interesting. Much like the elders, that is our elder room. In its own corner of spacetime, where days actually exist. All of sky is frozen repeating the same week, where Eden resets weekly and realms reset daily. And when we die, we do it all again. It’s a loop.

What if, we can only get cosmetics from the elders because:
When we relive spirits in their realms, we kind of make them accept that they are "dead" (because i think that spirits are dead people) and when they relive their memories, we make them happy. And the more cosmetics we buy from them, the more happy the become. This causes the elders of the realms to be happy and thankful to ghe skykids, and that is how we are able to get cosmetics from the elder.

Like most of the damage is interior, and there are leaks, so I'm guessing there are pipes somewhere in vault. These pipes could have been connected to the eden castle, so when the explosion happened some of the blast traveled through the pipes and damaged the interior walls, which were much weaker as they weren't meant to take such damage like the outer walls were

This may explain the old story - the prince was encased in the crystal. At first it was fine... But over time the crystal drained more and more energy, causing it to hurt. As it hurt more, he began reaching out and struggling more, draining energy of others if only to ease the pain for a short while. His pet was spared this treatment if only because it is a dark creature.
The rescue of the prince would have involved providing the prince with the energy needed to ease the pain long enough to escape.

So the prince king duality (at least in old concept art) is basically that the prince was “good-ish” and the transition INTO the king (metaphorically or physically/spiritually for some) is when he became “bad/corrupted”

Corruption is likely less becoming bad and more being in pain. Most creatures are made of dark or light. Most elders can, if they are being bothered by their darkstone, simply set it down for a while.
Krill have a shard trapped in them and don't get that luxury. The prince gets trapped in the crystal and also has no way of taking a break

The lights have their own free will . But in order to stay alive they need to be a thing. That also explains why we get light from burning plants. So what if turning them in to power diamonds is okay?

Theory. All sky people have two souls/sides that makes them , the light and the dark . The light symbolizes the good in us while while dark symbolizes bad. That will explain why when we die we fall then hug our light form . That also explains why the winged lights exist . What we do in Eden is actually putting the light and dark souls together so they can finally be in peace

You know we fall down like stars when we are reborn, I saw the inscription at Isle, the people even the spirits are just like us, they manage to master their power and make boats that can fly, they must've mastered how to make butterflies from light or flames,. That's as far as I got with the first 2 areas.
We are just a young gen with no elders alive
There's an inscription that shows stars falling down and people appearing, then the next inscription is them using power to make boats and light power, like our emotes, they then fly in boats which hints they made them, and fly to the skies to the stars
What supports the boats, is that at wasteland, if we meditate, we can make the boat work
The fact we make, illuminating emotes shows our power of expressing and how we could use it
So our origins are from stars which means we're not the remains of the king if we are to follow that theory of the Kings shards

Alright a theory
There was a religion the sky people believed that the stars are gods . So every once a year . Elders would come with their offerings. As can be seen in the drawings that are on the ship . They would give their offerings to the star gods and then celebrate with fire works . And also you can see that a krill is portrayed in the drawings too. With light. That suggesting krills might have been light creatures.
Even after the storm of Eden some people continued celebrating this holiday. And the spirit that draws those is one of them

So interesting modification to the shard theory: what if the problem most krills have is that they tried to eat the glowing darkstone, and now the darkstone is in their mouths, preventing them from eating normally? That's why they seem to ignore dropped wl - they ran into us trying to feed and got some light in the crystal, but they don't understand why we weren't consumed

Fallen ark murals just describe the journey of the merchants throughout the realms and their fall and eventual death in the wasteland but not before they opened their ark as a permanent shop and cultivated and foraged food for some time as seen in the mushroom collection and the crop rows near the cave
Also everything including the storm in the murals is golden so I don't think the krill was ever a creature of light 😅

The only thing I've seen so far about the krill is on the horn parts Moscow found. It's theorized that it's from a MegaKrill because the horns are larger and aren't similar to those of the smaller krill.

Alright. So, I believe that krill much like other light creatures were always a key part in the environment of Sky. They were apex predators, only rivalled by the ancestors and elders. They feed on primarily mantas, and butterflies are like dog treats for them !

it's likely Wasteland originated as a military base to counteract the rising amount of dark creatures
my headcanon is that there was a dispute between the elders (hence why some appear regretful or more empathic) so it could have also led to civil unrest
