When they go through eden the first time, they understand. They don’t feel as tired as they look. They say something about how they’re glad that’s over, when the older ones inform them that no, that’s not the end. There’s more that needs saved. The younger asks how many times they’ve gone through.

The older players have gone through this cycle for ages. They know they can’t stop the new ones, but they can try to keep them safe, at least. They lead the new players through the forests and the krill spaces. They try to show the young ones some good in the world.

Perhaps when they were young, they brought someone with them (or someone brought them along) and they watched as their friend slowly turned to stone.|| They were horrified, and rightly so. Communicating through text has its own etiquette and nuance.
