Ooo! I did some further research and horseshoe crabs are clumsy (they often use their takes to right themselves after being flipped by waves), and their eyes are extremely sensitive to light

It also says that they are scavengers kinda like vultures which explain why they are most prevalent in wasteland where a lot of skeletons are and their proximity to the darkness plants which I theorize to grow near decay or death

Just slightly off-topic from this alchemy theorising, who, or what do you think made those holes in the Vault’s block-library? It’s clear that someone or something caused all of that damage, but my main question is why they’d do such a thing.

Ease of access? Unless there were already entrances and exits beforehand, perhaps the reason those holes were broken was to allow easy access to the blocks and their contents if the blocks were sealed off.

Before the area was renovated in an earlier update, it was more clean too, it looked less broken, and the holes that lead to the lower floors were instead supported by staircases, the exit wasn’t a carved out tunnel either.
