“Boats are mainly for the use of carrying pots of light. You can see these pots of light being made at prairie and I say pots of light because there are butterflies put inside them. In the wave emote cutscene, u can actually see one of the flying boats carrying pots of light.
These pots are being shipped to forest to make power diamonds, they combine the light with organic material at forest and use a diamond press to combine them into an artificial Star, or what we call “power diamond”. You can actually see the concept of this by looking at the forest temple door mural. And I know I’ve been explaining this theory over and over and over again but I’m in quarantine and I got nothing else to do but heres another way of looking how power diamonds are made. This diamond press in the picture is also seen at the golden wasteland, and there’s a krill flying around it. It may be broken down but it is noticeable that it is the same factory. Also the shipwreck at wasteland is seen to be carrying certain pieces of this diamond press, it goes to the top and sides. Now I know there’s boats everywhere and not all of them are carrying pots of light, so I jus assume they are for transportation since the people on the ground can’t fly naturally”

This is one of my summaries of the process of the diamonds and the use of boats. It looks like but I narrowed it as much as I could

well pretty much many people here believe that the various areas of the game are places where creatures of light were compressed or drained to make power diamonds that would power boats, temples, etc. the biggest one was the diamond in eden, but that obviously didnt go well. anyways it seems like sky childs' souls are light, as we can be reborn and turn into smol spirits as seen in the death scene. what if the encased diamonds in vault are captured souls of the world of sky that were placed there to preserve and protect them from the chaos and destruction of wasteland and eden?

Oh actually, maybe there was a byproduct of the diamonds since it does not seem to have biological residue behind since it was made my light butterflies, although maybe they are not biological to begin with, however these are diamonds and even diamond have impurities.
